In 2007 Terry was nominated and then chosen as Outstanding
Breeder of The Year by Dogs In Review Magazine, Bowtie Publi-
cations and Purina. It was an immensely gratifying award given
the fact that it is voted on by the dog fancy of exhibitors and
judges across the United States and only one is chosen.

Terry currently is a long standing member of the Briard Club
of America Breed Education Committee and serves on the
Illustrated Standard creation committee. Additionally, she is
an active member of Atlantic States Briard Club of which she is
currently the president.

ASBC President - Terry Miller

Terry Miller graduated from college in Philadelphia with a
degree in Fine Arts. She applied her education in painting and
drawing to training dogs which she has been doing full time
ever since.

Looking for comic relief from her work of training Hearing Ear
Dogs and counseling owners with problem dogs, she set out to
find a breed which suited her interest in showing her own dogs
and required less grooming than the Standard Poodles she had
at the time. The less grooming concept flew out the window
when she realized that the breed which held the most interest to
her was the very hairy Briard.

In 1982 Terry got her first Briard for conformation after having
shown in obedience for several years. This dog, Ch Phydeaux ASBC Treasurer - Lynn Bernard
